About MindBharat
Who We Are
The MindBharat Policy Association (MBPA) is a national civil society initiative dedicated to advancing mental health and public policy in India.
Our vision is clear: a stronger, more resilient India where mindset and governance work together to shape the nation’s future.
Why We Exist
Mental health is not just a personal concern — it is a national priority.
A society’s confidence, productivity, and stability all depend on the wellbeing of its people. Yet, in India, mental health often remains overlooked in the broader development and policy agenda.
MBPA was founded to ensure that mental health and policy are treated as inseparable pillars of nation-building. We stand for the belief that a mentally healthier India will be a stronger India.
What We Do
MBPA contributes to the national conversation by:
Policy Notes & Briefs – Providing insights and recommendations on mental health and governance.
Press Releases & Media Outreach – Bringing attention to mental health and policy issues in the public domain.
Mission Updates – Sharing milestones, coverage, and institutional statements for transparency.
Supporter Engagement – Mobilizing citizens and professionals to stand together for stronger policy and stronger minds.
Our Values
Our work is guided by four core values:
Independence – MBPA is non-partisan and operates free from political alignment.
National Interest – Every initiative is designed to serve India’s long-term progress.
Collective Voice – We represent the shared commitment of citizens, students, and professionals.
Meaningful Impact – We focus on efforts that create real value, not noise.
Leadership
MBPA is led by Paras Panjwani, psychology author and public policy analyst, who serves as the association’s President. Under his guidance, MBPA is positioned as a credible and independent civil society initiative working at the intersection of mental health and policy.
